For two contrasting rounds at one resort, consider Spring City’s Lake and Mountain courses. For a city-based stay, Lakeview and Qianglin offer two distinct Dianchi-area choices. Jialize Wetland is the shorter alternative to the Championship Course. It has 18 holes, par 70, and a listed length of 5,209 yards. Its scorecard also lists tee-set totals of 4,743 and 3,924 yards, with hole-by-hole distances on the course page. The scorecard table explains a discrepancy in the printed front-nine subtotal.
Kunming golf prices & inclusions
Rates depend on the course and playing date. Jialize Championship starts at RMB 980 in winter and rises to RMB 1,380 in July and August. Sunshine starts at RMB 880 and rises to RMB 1,980 in July and August. Jialize Wetland offers self-pull bag walking at RMB 280–580 or shared cart and caddie at RMB 500–880. Other listed courses are quoted for your date.
Most listed golf rates include the green fee, a cart shared by two golfers, the caddie fee and one bottle of water. The Jialize Wetland self-pull bag walking rate does not include a cart or caddie. Caddie tips are extra; the customary tip is RMB 200 per golfer, per caddie. Transfers, rental clubs, food and other purchases are separate.
A single-rider cart fee applies at Hot Spring and Jialize Championship. Jialize Wetland has optional caddies and no extra single-rider cart fee. Its caddie tips are RMB 200 for 1:1 or RMB 300 for a 1:2 arrangement.

Best time to play golf in Kunming
Golf is possible throughout the year around Kunming. March–May and October–November offer a useful balance of comfortable weather and playing conditions. November–April is generally drier; May–October is both the greener rainy season and peak golf season in Yunnan. Rain often comes in short, heavy showers and rarely lasts all day. Morning tee times in July and August can book up early. May and October are transition months, and conditions still vary by course and date.

Getting to Kunming golf courses
Choose your accommodation with your golf plans in mind. The Kunming collection includes courses beyond the city centre in Anning, Songming and the Yangzong Lake area, so the hotel-to-course journey matters. Share your hotel, airport or station pickup point when requesting a transfer. Private return transfers can be arranged for an additional charge, or you can use the Chinese names and addresses on the course pages to organise your own transport.
Golf club rental in Kunming
Rental clubs are available at most courses around Kunming, typically around RMB 300 per round for a modern set. Add club hire to your enquiry so it can be arranged with the course. Driving ranges are available at the listed Kunming courses except OCT Yunhai Valley.

Which Kunming golf course should I choose?
Choose by location and the kind of round you want. Lakeview and Qianglin suit a Dianchi-area itinerary; Spring City offers two different layouts at one resort. Can international visitors book Kunming golf tee times?
Yes. International golfers are welcome at the courses listed here and receive the same rates and playing conditions as Chinese and local guests, with no nationality-based booking surcharge. Send your preferred course, date and group size to Colin for availability and a quote.
How early should I book golf in Kunming?
About one week ahead is normally sufficient for most of the year. Book earlier for popular summer morning times, especially in July and August. Tee times remain subject to course availability.
Can I play as a single golfer in Kunming?
Yes. Single golfers can usually play without being paired with another group, although a busy course may combine players. A single-rider cart supplement applies at Hot Spring and Jialize Championship.
